Principle of operation
  • Ozone detection sensor adopts the principle of Electrochemical gas sensors to detect and measure ozone concentration in the environment.
  • The performance indicators of the ozone sensor include response time, sensitivity, accuracy, and stability.
  • Response time is the time it takes for the sensor to generate a response signal from the time it receives the ozone signal.

  • Generally, ozone sensors consist of a working electrode, a reference electrode, and an electrolyte. The working electrode consists of conductive material and catalyst, and the reference electrode generally consists of silver/silver silver chloride electrode. When ozone gas comes into contact with the surface of the working electrode, a redox reaction occurs, generating a current signal. By measuring the size and change of this current signal, information on ozone concentration can be obtained.
