The IDM-D03 electronic nose system consists of 32 different gas sensor including arrays, data acquisition and transmission modules. It is a mobile integrated data acquisition system tested for professional-grade gas and odor recognition.
Electronic nose technology has the following advantages:
1. High sensitivity: able to detect extremely low concentrations of gases and odor molecules.
2. Quick response: can provide detection results in a short period of time.
3. Multi component detection: capable of simultaneously detecting and distinguishing multiple different gases and odors.
4. Objectivity: Not affected by subjective human feelings and fatigue, the test results are relatively objective.
5. Non destructive testing: The testing process usually does not cause damage to the sample.
6. Continuous monitoring: It can achieve long-term continuous monitoring and is suitable for scenarios such as environmental monitoring that require long-term data.
There are also some drawbacks:
1. Susceptible to interference: Factors such as temperature and humidity in the environment may interfere with the test results.
2. Sensor drift: The performance of the sensor may drift, affecting the accuracy and repeatability of detection.
3. Database dependency: Accurate identification and analysis rely on a comprehensive gas and odor database. When the database is incomplete, it may lead to misjudgment.
4. High cost: The construction and maintenance costs of the system are relatively high.
5. Complex data analysis: The analysis and processing of detection data are complex and require professional algorithms.
